BANGKOK: Asia’s most promising young coaches were able to spend some valuable time with Thai national coach Peter Reid and observe his training methods.
The coaches are part of the AFC Project Future Batch 2008 who were selected from last year’s Festivals of Football for further training.
They observed Reid during national training on Monday and then spent some time with him as he shared his views on coaching.
He urged the coaches to learn as much as they could about the profession so they would have the courage to make their own decisions.
Reid is a former England national who won 13 caps for his country. He has played for Everton, Manchester City, Leeds, Coventry and other English clubs during his playing career.
